About Digital Download PDF Files

Free Patterns are in PDF file format and not a paper pattern, book, or the finished product. It's easy to download a PDF file. You can download it to your computer or print the pages. PDF files only need to be opened, then saved or printed.

You can access PDF files easily from your computer by using the Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have this on your computer, it can be downloaded for free from their site at www.adobe.com

Printing PDF files:

If you are printing from a download, be sure to print the pattern pages at 100%, not "Fit to page" on your printer. Brindle Pond patterns have a test square on one of the pages. You may test the accuracy of your printout by printing that page and measuring the square. It should measure 2" x 2".

Some pattern pieces will not fit on a standard 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper, therefore you will need to tape the pages together to form full sized pattern pieces.

To join the pages together cut along the red dotted lines. Then matching A1 to A2, B1 to B2 and so forth, overlap the cut page over the matching page. Tape in place.
